Amazing spot if you want a great view of the river. Food was simple but very reasonably priced and tasty. Casual and dog friendly.

I had a rather special experience here as I fell ill quite suddenly. The owner, staff and even local residents were incredibly helpful and supportive. A local nurse happened to be on site and gave me 5* care. The lentil soup is a life saver!

The location and views over the Douro river are stunning. The restaurant has both some tables on the outdoors terrace, and indoors with spectacular views over the Douro valley. The tables indoors are closed off from the outside by a glass wall, offering both views and comfort. The food is clearly fresh, homemade, simple and affordable. There is some fingerfood and soup as starters, various meat and fish options for the mains, and various desserts.
